Introduction

Department of Midwifery has 3 lecturers:

  1. Nguyễn Ngọc Minh Phương (Head of Department)
  2. Nguyễn Hồng Thắm (Assistant of Department)
  3. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Tuyền

Department of Midwifery was a Midwifery unit of the Department of Nursing – Midwifery. In 27/07/2011 (the decision 1026/QĐ-ĐHYPNT), The Faculty of Nursing – Medical Engineering was established. Department of Midwifery has become 1 of 8 departments of the Faculty of Nursing – Medical Engineering.

Department of Midwifery is teaching “Patient care” for nurses and midwives, located at the 4th floor, including 4 Labs and 1 Simulation Training Unit.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

♦ Training nureses, midewives and postgraduate with good achievements to meet social needs.

♦ Scientific research, technology application and international cooperation.

♦ Department operates and manages according to the strategy of the Faculty of Nursing – Medical Engineering and Pham Ngoc Thach University of medicine.

♦ Lecturers innovate, create and raise the professional skills.

♦ Lecturers unite, department develops strongly.

♦ Updating and ensuring the quality training programs, teaching-studying curriculums associated with the Hospital – the University model.
