On May 22nd, the Brien Holden Vision Institute, on behalf of Doctor Anthony Hanks and his wife, Vicky Hanks, awarded a scholarship of Au$1,500 to an optometry student named Truong Hoang Anh, currently a third-year student of Vietnam’s Bachelor training of Optometry course at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.

In his speech, Hoang Anh showed his gratitude to Mr and Mrs. Hanks, Brien Holden Vision Institute, the Board of Directors of UPNT, all beloved lecturers as well as his classmates for giving him the opportunity to receive this valuable scholarship which helps to cover his difficult life and gives him a strong motivation to study harder and achieve more success in his studies as well as his future career.

UPNT, Nursing and Medical technology Faculty and Optometry department appreciate the endless support from Dr. Anthony Hank to Vietnam optometry development by giving this annual scholarship to Vietnamese optometry students since his first visit to Vietnam in 2015.
